About our founder
Meditation Team was co-created by Allan René, driven by an unstoppable urge to build a clothing brand that combines meditation and cool sustainable clothing. Growing up in a culture that looks up to Hollywood and materialism, while looking down on the spiritual path, Allan felt a narrative was missing. He wanted to fill this gap and share uplifting stories from his own perspective.
Growing up, Allan would lie on the floor, trying to understand his feelings. This helped him get to know himself better. Once he started making choices based on inner peace, his life improved. Allan discovered Vipassana meditation and saw how it brings love and peace. And wanted everyone to know that happiness is within us.
With Meditation Team, Allan promotes a meditative lifestyle in all forms, whether it’s sitting still, surfing, creating art, running, or sparring in a dojo. When you do what you love and immerse yourself fully, you connect with your highest self—that’s meditation.

Vipassana Foundation
We promise to donate part of our profits to the Vipassana Foundation. Vipassana is an ancient meditation technique that helps people see the “truth of reality.” It welcomes everyone, no matter their religion or background, and aims to clear the mind of negative thoughts to bring joy and freedom.
Unlike businesses, Vipassana courses are offered for free at centers worldwide. The costs are covered by donations from people who have experienced Vipassana and want others to have the same chance.
